Container terms:
Deposit
We take a deposit fee of £250, £200 is allocated towards the container itself and £50 against the padlock we supply you free of charge.
The deposit will be refunded to you when you vacate the container, in order for your deposit to be refunded in full we require the container to be clean, empty and any keys handed back to us along with the padlock.
VAT is charged on all container rent, we do not charge VAT on the deposit, the deposit is fixed at £250.
If you wish to commit to a longer period than 18 months then please contact us directly to discuss your individual needs.
Invoices
Once your account is set up with us you will receive an invoice from LMW Property Investments Limited on a monthly basis to cover the monthly period.
Business rates / VAT
LMWproperty Investments Limited is a VAT registered company and all rental prices quoted exclude VAT, all monthly rental invoices will have 20% VAT added. No VAT will be added to the deposit.
Price rises
We are driven by being able to provide our customers the best possible containers at affordable rates, if we need to increase our pricing structure we will always make sure our customers are given 30 days notice via email before their next monthly payment is due.
Deposit refunds
We charge our customers at £250 deposit, £200 against the container and £50 against the padlock we issue.
We will hold this deposit for as long as you remain a customer of Leominster self-storage containers.
When you decide to vacate your container one of our team will check the container to ensure its be handed back in a clean and empty condition, we will at the same time require you to hand back any keys and the padlock to us.
We will then refund your deposit within 14 days.
What happens if I miss my storage payments?
If for any reason you think you’re going to struggle to pay your storage bill then please get in touch so we can look to resolve the situation, we’ll always try to help out.
When signing your container license agreement, you agree to set up a standing order to pay your monthly storage bill on the first day of every month.
If we don’t receive your payment or haven’t herd from you seven days after your payment is due, we will email you to take payment. If you don’t contact us for help and we receive no payment after our initial email we will then contact you again on the fourteenth day, if you do not reply within 3 days after the second email, we will start to apply administrative costs to recover the outstanding debt, we will also restrict access to your storage container until the outstanding bills are up to date.
Remember we’re a friendly bunch!
The very last resort if you haven’t contacted us regarding your unpaid storage bill and we’ve actioned the above process leaves us no choice but to dispose of your containers goods and charge those costs on to you.

Site rules:
Security Gates
For the security of all our shipping container customers and neighbouring tenants leasing commercial units, we strictly condone that when you leave the site you must lock the gate securely behind you.
We are looking to make the access and exit process easier for all our tenants by installing an automated gate system and look to action that in the near future.
Fire
In case of a fire onsite or in your container please immediately contact the emergency fire service by calling 999, direct them to the site address which is Northern Lights Business Park, Clinton Road, Leominster, Hr6 0SW and then leave the site for your own safety.
Vehicle speed Limit
Please respect the onsite speed limit of 5mph, this is in place for your safety and that of others, thank you.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited on site.

Although shipping containers have a diverse range of items you can store in them, there are some items you can’t.

What is container storage?
Involves renting a space for a certain amount of time with the intent of storing goods within it. Self-storage usually requires individuals to deposit their belongings at the storage facility independently.
Can I view a container before moving in?
Although our staff visit the site regularly it’s not a manned site, if you require a site visit we are more than happy to show you around, please contact us by clicking here.
Do I need to provide my own padlock?
No, we provide you with a free industry specification padlock (Squire WS75 Stronghold container lock.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, you will be required to pay a deposit of £250.
We return the full deposit at the end of your rental when you leave your container clean and empty, and also return the lock and any keys we supply free of charge.
Can I store a motor vehicle in a container?
Yes, you can and that’s one of their original design uses, however the fuel tank MUST be emptied.
Do I have to clean out my container when I leave?
Yes, in order for you get a full refund your container must be empty and cleaned out
How much does container storage cost?

Are the contents of my container insured by you?
No. We do not provide contents insurance, it is up to you to do so.
Are the containers insulated?
Shipping containers can suffer from container rain its basically when condensation forms on the ceiling of the container resulting in water droplets falling onto your goods, we insulate the ceilings of all our containers to irradicate this problem.
Are their toilets on site?
Sorry we don’t have toilets on site
Can I leave my vehicle in the compound overnight?
Sorry no this is not a service we offer space is limited and solely for loading and unloading.
Do you have trollies or access to fork lift trucks?
Sorry no, everything you’re wanting to store in a container will need to be carried into the container by your selves.
Will you accept my deliveries?
Sorry no, the site isn’t manned so we don’t have a facility to accept any deliveries.
Do I have to give notice to leave?
Yes, we require you to give us 28days notice via email to vacate your container after your minimum term has expired.
What are our opening hours?
Our site is open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Sunday.
How often can I have access to my goods?
We offer unlimited access to your goods within our opening hours.
